I got this to replace my old power chord that had lasted four year. I was astounded at how cheap and seemingly well it worked. One month later it simply stopped working and i was left without a usable computer. I would not recommend this item based on it’s terrible life span, although maybe i just got a bad one.

Works great for me
I bought this adapter for my G4 Powerbook and it’s working just fine for me, no problems at all. Best of all, it was one third of the price of an original Mac adapter.

The adapter worked well for a couple of weeks. It then became intermittant and has now failed completely. As a former power adapter designer and now a user I would not recommend this device.
